I've heard this, but then i hear about suspected terroist's being bashed in Guantenamo bay, i dont believe that. I've you were a leader, if you were muslim, i can assure you if your country was invaded and you saw your own people aiding the invaders(Kuwait)... You too would be angry! The first attack on Iraq was neccesary, the second was uterly wrong. Iraq wasnt that bad of a country, compared to some other Muslim nations. The richest country in the world is the UAE (United Arab Emirates) bet you didnt know that. The country is tiny, really small but has huge cities... Oil of course! this country is one of the only Muslim countries that allows people to wear what ever they want, act however they want, and you know what? i think its like 99% of people prefer to wear what they have been for the last thousand years, theyd rather wear traditional Islamic attire. Anyway getting back to the point, A Shiite will win the elections, then the Shiites will begin persecuting Sunni's. Iran 100% Shiite will support the Iraqi Shiites. If Bush is serious about not leaving until the job is done 100%, then your troops arnt coming home for a long time!

And Suddam punishing his people was justified, they helped foreign invaders, thats TREASON! most Islamic Regimes do not tolerate crime, especially not treason. Suddam's people saw a chance to overthrow their Sunni leader (Installed by the Americans in the first place)... They had to be made examples off... Whether the punishment be death, its the way of Islam, in America what the punishment for treason? Life in prisonment? And yes i agree the only way to give a country their freedom is by Revolution. You cant invade a country and say "Heres your freedom, were just going to stay here and fight your enemies for you!"
