and its against Federal law also =p so how these cities can pan that one out.. I have no fucking clue lol

Most of the cities in Alaska allow you to possess up to four ounces of marijuana in homes for personal use.

It is still illegal though, even if city officials or state officials won't prosecute you. Federal laws supersede those of the state.

The government in Britain (and i'm guessing American also) Attempt to legitimate keeping it illegal by claiming that corretional studies show there is a link between cannabis use and certain mental illnesses. However, these are only correlational studies, meaning they compared statistics of cannabis use and whether or not these developed a mental illness later on or not. They found that people who smoke cannabis were more likely than a non-cannabis user to develope a mental illness. However it is merely conjecture to suggest that cannabis was the CAUSE of this illness.
Another equally valid conclusion would be that people who develope mental illnesses are also people who have lead unhappy lives for one reason or another and are therefore drawn to drug use or in this case cannabis use as i mean's of destressing/escaping.
