Just being an ass I know, but the point is that you dont see it, cuz its just a few words changed in a place most ppl never read whereas a popup would stand out. So if youve got a blocker its not at all implausible that one would not notice it since theyd get no pop-up, which was the whole point of the discussion in the first place. Ah well.

It was a question. And I don't think many people here wouldn't check when that pop-up shows up and says 'you have a new message'.
