If there is an open beta again goodbye P's because it's obvious, they weren't going to pay to play anyways. Then you have the Cs against the reset... They will quit all together.... Then you have the people who use other people to buy C for them suing Faldon Items and gold... Say goodbye to them... New Client is what? Maybe 1 or 1.5 years away if not longer? The Faldon population has been in a steady decrease also so uh oh. Yes it might bring some other players back who wanted a wipe and a fresh start, but you will lose more than you gain.

The Kiss of Death if that happens.

Fully agreed with lots of this, the population hasnt really plumetted mind you, its because the maps get bigger, the world opens up, and suddenly you dont have the starting town beign the hub of activity as was such in the desert map, and in the 3 church maps (Yes, 3.. alpha, pre-beta, and beta) Now, most players are forming their own groups around shop NPC's out in the middle of no where doing there own thing not even bothering to head back to the town. If the 'new map' were to take advantage of keeping the NPC's in the starting town, and forcing players to head back tiem and tiem again, you will develop a closer community, because players will be opening more trading, more pvp, and more grouping.
