The patcher assumes it can write to the program directory and on Vista it can't for the normal one..

The new installer (posted up today) fixes this actually. It defaults to AppData\Local and should work fine on Vista.

Make a batch file in your faldon directory and put this line in it;
client.exe #fcCGJEGIEJOEOALDELSP
Save and run, if it still doesn't work then ... idk =p
