Turns out it was a bug in Wine 1.1.37's handling of null characters in BSTRs, fixed in 1.1.40.

Are there any duping or other bugs you folks are aware of other than these?

Make a batch file with that line in it, put it in your faldon dir and run it. Also, you probably have to make sure connecting on alt port is turned OFF.

in a .bat file in the Faldon directory. The data on it is slightly outdated, but perhaps try it for a bit and see if you run into any quirks/bugs. Things that are dicey in my view:

market
- all moved to a SQLite database.. might have bugs
mail
- same
pets
- same

The snapshot was taken around 2PM today. Let me know if everything imported correctly to your account, such as your pets, and whether your pets have the correct spells. Naturally, a more recent snapshot will be taken when we do the actual move. <insertname>, let me know if your name got fixed or if it imported the wrong character into your account, etc.
Nobody's on the test ladder yet, but it's real time unlike the previous one (caches a max of 10 seconds).
