You know that it's possible to have an event without giving away rare items, right?  I'd even venture to say it's possible to have a compelling event without screwing up the economy with freebies.

faldon has always had a xmas event, cept the xmas in 2008, but the gms made up for that by throwing an event in march i think tongue ?
