Judy - I feel like you don't understand the proper usage of the word "trolling".

Spy - I think it's awesome that you're taking that stance, but you and Wu should really get on the same page about that. If Wu is saying it's okay, and you're saying it's not, you're going to end up with very angry players one way or another.

It is only in the passed 2 days I have come to realise what a momentous parasite Eddie actually is! What with the mail scamming, averting masked words in broadcast chat to exclaim racial hatred, and his unrelenting abuse towards Ms, GMs and members of Illusory staff when he doesn't get his own way... I like to think I am one of the more tolerant players on Faldon, but even then... geezzzz... even I have got sick and tired of that jerk's whining. And to be honest, I only regret defending him the time I did, as I can honestly see now what all else have, that he's honestly not worth it! So SHUT UP Eddie and stop complaining! If you hate the Faldon community so much, why don't you just go and not come back? Wont hear any arguments from us...

He may have said that but if I'm able to prevent scams that are as clear as this one then I will try to intervene if at all possible. Unless I'm explicitly told not to intervene in any way I will try my best to prevent these mails scams.

I had actually tried to intervene in the case referenced to in the topic you linked to but at the time I didn't have access to the required log files so I was unable to gather the required evidence to recover the stolen items.

Scamming is not legal, nothing really gets done about it as it's very hard to track them and prove that something illegal happened. That and a lot of people are just plain stupid.

However, in the case of mail scams I can make an exception as the characters used for mail scamming are almost always exclusively made for that purpose which proves the intent of scamming.

In your case you sent serveral mails from a fake character named I Z E R K I to | F I N A | with "Re: Re: Re: Re:" in the subject line to get him to mistake those mails as mails from his own character | Z E R K | and send items to it.

FYI, this is not the first time I helped someone with a scam like this and I will continue to do so if people contact me on time and provide adequate information.

If scams happened too long ago it'll be impossible to track them as items get traded a lot which is why I need people to contact me the minute these things happen or I will not be able to intervene.

If this is the case you better get tracking down everyones lost items in the last 10 years, when you guys previously werent allowed to get involved.
