Hmmm, I tried a fresh install with the latest installer and it all seems to work fine, are your gfx card drivers etc. up to date?
Have you had Faldon installed before on that machine/OS?

Its windows XP but no just the names when they go by and it smears the name as the walk

spy try downloading faldon then visit the website from your log in screen its messed up.(well it is for me anyway)

Could you tell us what operating system you're using?

When you say you see people walk by, do they have anything equiped? If it's the game world that's black then I think something is wrong with your map files. If you are on Win7/Vista, did you install Faldon in the Program Files folder or some other location?

i downloaded the game but when i tryed playing it would freeze the computer so i put it in windowed mode and it come up just everythings black except for the letters when i put in my account i can even go to the game and chat kinda shows up and when ppl walk by but everything else is black, i tryed messing with the display options and even reinstalled twice idk what to do. has anyone had this happen before or could help me with it?
