Not the puzzle itself, just how hard it was to activate a rune 
Turned out what worked was walking up to one, pausing and walking away. Walking past didn't seem to work or only randomly.
Also, yes, after going back to the Fish Baron he tells you to go over to Arrakeen 
hich can only be created using an ancient furnace located in the depths of the mountains guarded by very dangerous mobs.
are you talking about the furnace at Lost Spirit spawn?
is it a part of banish quest??
Dahlr I don't remember the exact details to, but I think you actually have to do a couple of mini-quests to prove yourself worthy, then gain entrance into the king's area where he asks you to aid in defeating kalathor
