I think the remaining players accept Zer's lack of involvement to a certain degree and are still happy to pay for and play the game. Every once in a while I think of leaving Faldon to find a more modern game that has a more active development team and a bigger player base, but I always end up coming back because I still enjoy Faldon.

As far as the claim that Faldon is dead or dying.. the size of the player base ebbs and flows as it always has, but recently we've had up to 20 people online with numerous oldbies returning and getting C. Never say never.
