Even if the client is default on, so users can turn it off. It is common teen+ language for people to use "Sh*t, F*ck, etc." The racist slurs, are fine to stay in, as that was the main reason of making the chat filter server side.

Another note, it is fairly easy to get around these chat filters, and I am pretty sure it mostly blocks English words.
Hopefully an easy quality of life change you can plug in on the next server reset.
