Faldon Wiki - New & Improved

Hey all,

I've been working to do a vast overhaul of the Faldon wiki (https://faldon.fandom.com/wiki/Faldon_Wikia). I spent quite a bit of time working on the navigation, skills sections, guides and rewriting/purging all the old irrelevant data. I've also compiled a lot of information from the forum like event drop rates etc. It should be a lot easier to navigate now with the top bar all linked correctly.

We're working on getting the graphics finished up to really spiff it up a bit.

I'll continue to update it as I have time, but if you'd like to contribute, I'm sure we'd all really appreciate it. We need help with things like Quest Guides, Event guides & Leveling guides(1-100,100-300,300+). If you'd like to help, please get ahold of me.

Also, it would be really helpful if I could get a few Data tables for things like weapons, monsters, alchemy requirements (level and material requirements) and cooking (level and material requirements). Zer? Spy? any direction these?

Anyway, if you haven't checked in a while go take a look. Any insight, changes, edits, requests would be greatly appreciated.

https://faldon.fandom.com/wiki/Faldon_Wikia

Raids, Magma, Pit, Royal Sewers, Haggy Event Guide

This guide is designed to explain Raids and Magma events.
Much of this information is taken from Guizinh0 & Mr Spy's forum post.

Wuville Orc Raid:
The Wuville Orc Raid is a lower level raid that is designed for newbies.
The raid starts outside of the Wuville town boarder, walking south west towards the dirt golems on the Valour map.

This even uses the Need, Greed, Pass looting system. More information here:
English
Portuguese

For solo completion of this Raid, your Rewards are:
Experience: TBD

Possible Drops:
- gold pieces (200-300)
- healing elixir (100-150)
- mana elixir (100-150)
- mithril arrows (250-400)
- long bow
- viking sword
- wizard staff
- wizard hat
- mage robe
- heavy chainmail
- chainmail
- ringmail
- nasal helm
- kettle helm

Desert/Arrakeen Raid:
The Desert Raid is designed for medium level teams to high level solo players. It starts on the west side of the Desert map near the white portal, then gradually moves east and then north towards the town of Arrakeen.
As the Raid moves, it gathers a stronger force. It first starts with many Stone Golems and Rock Titans. Shortly after it gathers many Scorpions. As the raid travels east, it gathers many undead monsters, Bone Knights, Ghost Dragons, Undead Guards
You may kill all the monsters before they reach Arrakeen, however you will not get the maximum experience for the event reward. I am not sure if it will change your Item reward outcome(Mr Spy?).

This even uses the Need, Greed, Pass looting system. More information here:
English
Portuguese

For solo completion of this Raid, your Rewards are:
Maximum Experience: 720K xp

Possible Reward Drops:
- bliss
- arctic blade
- sovereign boots
- war bow
- helm of enlightenment
- shield of royalty
- ice staff
- arctic ringmail
- Aegis
- divine sword
- flaming feet
- ztaly
- wtaly
- boots of darkness
- elven gold (2-4)
- great helm
- corinthian barabute
- gold plate
- full plate
- war axe
- claymore
- heavy gauntlets
- all gems (250-300)
- gold pieces (1500-3000)
- mithril ore (20-35)
- elven gold nuggets (5-8)

Magma Golem:
Magma Golem event is a high level event that can be done solo or as a team. It is very difficult to kill it solo unless you a re a very high level. Generally a mix of Melee or Archery with summoned pets is the best way to weaken the Magma, as it has no great weaknesses.
The Magma comes around a little less than once every real life day.
The event can be found on the south side of the Valour mapValour map.

This even uses the Need, Greed, Pass looting system. More information here:
English
Portuguese

For solo completion of this Raid, your Rewards are:
Maximum Experience: 400K xp +Magma Death XP 250K xp

Possible Reward Drops:
- gold pieces (1-5k)
- elven gold nuggets (10-15)
- large rejuv pots (750-850)
- mithril arrows (8-10k)
- all 4 types of ores (4-6k)
- all 4 types of gems (200-300)
- all arctic gear, except the hat
- all the pink gear
- witching dress
- gaunts of dead
- gaunts of casting
- shining force
- noblefire
- helm of burning
- corinthian barabute
- combustion pendant
- gada
- zanba
- psi blade
- magebane
- jester hat

Items have decent warrior or mage oriented prefixes, depending on the item type, and an arbitrary suffix.

Haggy:
Haggy is a minigame that can be found in Midgard by first talking to Midas on the east side of town. After that you can be let in by talking to Vault Guard near Midgard bank to open the doors. After you go down stairs, you will want to form your team and join party. I have found in the past that 3 is a good number to play with, but more is good too.
Next you will go past the scared guard an start attacking Haggy's Minions. You might want to focus on attacking the followers first to get follower skulls. These skulls are very important as they give you a special bonus when using the fireball spell, and they keep you from dying if you lose all your hit points. One skull is consumed each time your character gets to 0 hit points.
Once you go through all the waves of enemies, which takes a while, Haggy will move off her Island in the middle for a very short time. Once she does, you will have to use the Bless spell until she is killed.
When she dies you may get your reward by going out of the mini-game arena and walking down the passage to the northeast until you find her chest.

Possible Rewards:
- Level 1 book of Slowed Actions
- Royal glaive, which is always Cracked/???
- A potion of electricity (upgrades your Charged Bolt spell to act like a lightning nova where you cast it)
- gold pieces (1-3k)
- gold pieces (100-250)
- gold pieces (10-25)
- Elven gold nuggets (0-25) - Depends on amount of damage done, teammates, etc.

The Pit:
The pit is an anytime mini-game designed to kill all Ghost and Green Dragons, then get a reward.
You start this mini-game by speaking to Jennifer in Midgard. She resides in the south east part of town.
She will ask you what you want to join in as (Warrior, Mage, Assistant), which determines the buffs you get.

Warrior: Buffs to Melee Damage against Ghost dragons only! Silver/Sun gear preferred.
Mage: Buffs to Energy Bolt spell and Archery Damage! Bow of Lightning or Warbow is often preferred with Mithril arrows as ammo.
Assistant: Little to no buffs at all, however you still have an advantage to using Melee and Energy Bolt spell.

It is more fun to do it with at least one friend, and each picking Warrior or Mage.
As of posting, you are allowed 12 turns in pit per Faldon day (approx 48 min). Aug, 2 2024.

(I think all the items except gold pieces are Cs only)
Possible Item Rewards:
- arctic blade
- bliss
- flaming feet
- sword of kings
- war bow
- horned helm
- bow of lightning
- Thor's hammer
- boots of burning
- mourningstar
- doomed taly
- Alecto's wrath
- assassin blade
- Aegis
- mithril gaunts
- mithril robe
- blood robe
- divine sword
- master sword
- necro hat
- jester hat
- gaunts of dead
- arctic ringmail
- shining force
- gold pieces (100,150 for P, 125-175 for C)
- level 9-11 book of clit, charged bolt, death darts, ebolt, flamestrike, nova, slimes, weaken, pcloud, eq, HA, polymorph, holy strike, teleport
- 3-7 mystery potions
The equipable items have a rate of around 0.18%, books around 1.27%, mystery potions around 1.55%.

Mysterious potions can have the following effects:
-Fully restores your hit points and mana.
-Gives you 10,000 experience points.
-Gives you 1 elven gold.
-Fully repairs your armour and weapon.
-Opens your bank.
-Gives you 5,000 faith points.
-Removes the rotting prefix of one of the items in your inventory. This will reset the durability on the item to that of a new item of that type without the rotting prefix.
-Changes your gender.
-Casts Fu Man Chu (a powerful GM only spell).
-Absolves you of any crimes you may have committed (removes Criminal, Murderer and Villian status).

Royal Sewers:
Royal Sewers is a wave based mini-game. It is the easiest mini-games to do solo if desired. However, it is faster and more fun to do with more players. Starting with wave 1, you start with low level monsters such as orcs, moving towards mid level monsters, then higher level monsters at the end.
Gold Piece rewards increase the more waves you finish. I am unsure but have heard item reward chances get better as you complete more waves.
There are 30 Waves and it is possible to complete with a good team or higher level team.

Possible Item Drops:

- arctic winter boots
- arctic boots
- boots of darkness
- arctic blade
- bliss
- flaming feet
- golden crown
- shield of royalty
- Aegis
- darkness plate
- crystal dagger
- sword of kings
- bow of lightning
- dark vader helm
- vader helmet
- catbert sword
- mysterious potions (at least 4 of them, depending on wave level reached)
- gold pieces (depends on the wave level reached)

What is elven gold?
Elven gold is a sub-currency in Faldon which was first introduced as a gift to all Citizens during the Christmas event of 2010. The elven gold could be traded with the event NPC Midas to upgrade spells to higher levels, to upgrade the maximum durability of items (to a maximum of 160), or exchanged for 2000 gold pieces each. As players didn't spend all their elven gold during the event Midas was given a permanent home in Midgard so players could spend their remaining elven gold. At this point the option to trade elven gold for gold pieces was removed.

How can I get elven gold?
For a few years following the Christmas event which introduced elven gold it was not possible for players to get any new elven gold. This however changed, and over time new ways to obtain elven gold have been introduced.

- Drinking mysterious potions can (as well as other things) give you 1 elven gold.
- The Haggy quest rewards you with elven gold nuggets. 25 of these elven gold nuggets can be converted to 1 elven gold by using the furnace in Midgard (requires that you have completed the Miners on strike quest).
- Proper levelling can result in The Watcher rewarding you with 1 elven gold.

What can I do with elven gold now?
Currently you can spend your elven gold at Midas to upgrade spells to higher levels, to upgrade the maximum durability of items (to a maximum of 160), or to buy a variety of rare items. Note that Midas will only show his elven gold options if you actually have some elven gold in your inventory.

Anything with *needs to be spell checked or edited later. Thanks.

A big Thank-you to Mr. Spy for helping us with all the information!
