also, you might want to look up a few facts........first off the british were still reeling from the french and indian war a few years before the revolutionary war began, which benefited the colonials to an extent......the french were also our first true supporters.....i mean, we inspired them so much that they decided to have a revolution modeled ofter ours........and before you cast stones at the french for their actions as of late, remember this country held an isolationist stance for years and years after world war 1.........we turned a blind eye while hitler ravaged europe for years(sending the british a few ships of supplies doesn't count)....and speaking of harboring terrorists, besides brazil and various other countries in south america, many wanted nazi war criminals fled here.....many never to be caught.

mmm I beg to differ on that. the only reason he becme so big was because he got everyone to listen to them. The country was in shambles, the economy.. hell what Economy? They had brought the barter system back I do believe for a period of time. Hitlers message was exactly what they wanted.
