They added stupid scenes in the movies, that weren't even in the books. Like the rider scene, where they are attacked on the hill in the Fellowship. they could have left out that crap, and put in Tom Bombadil, the greatest character in the entire trilogy!

So Mold, if you hate me because I dislike LOTR...can I get the house after the divorce?  wink

I'm not saying it was true or not, i'm just saying it cleared up some myths about the myths of King Arthur, if it is indeed a myth. One such is Merlin as a sorcerer. Of course sorcery is a myth, but Merlin has always been called a sorcerer, when according to this he is a leader of an army.
