Yes Mold.. I know what the debate was about.. but in pre-debate comentary they were expecting Kerry to defend his Flip Flopping record..

And he did just that, to a certain extent. However, he focused more on the issues, unlike our president.

Gothic, Saddam clearly violated the UN Resolutions many times, yet the UN kept wanting to give him extended Deadlines and kept on wanting to revise to the resolutions to ease up on him.

Don't forget that proof however.

As I have stated 3 times before: A couple month ago the CIA released information to Bush that they KNEW he was not a threat to anybody outside his own country and that of his nieghbors, BEFORE the war started. Now let us not forget who runs the CIA...could it be Daddy Bush? It was on Fox, ABC, CNN, NBC, even fucking AOL knew this.

Nonetheless, Kerry has indeed changed his mind on some issues, more importantly, the way he has explained it, and the words he has chosen have been stupid. Bush has also flip-flopped on some issues . . . but that seems to go unnoticed. Kerry didn't actually explain why he had changed his mind on some issues during that debate. Why? Well, Fireborn, because the debate was not about that. The debate was about Homeland security and the War in Iraq. While Sen. Kerry focused on those issues, Bush took the time to try to smear Kerry by bringing up "flip-flopping" and seldom explaining, or justifying why he, himself has made decisions. I think most Americans picked up on that, and thought Bush easily lost. I know the moderates I have talked to felt that way.
