I think that in general you can get a similar (except greater) effect from putting the same stats you might wanna put into defense, into stamina (more hp) and constitution (for faster hp regen). Defense can be useful/effective if you have plenty of it, but in general isnt worth the stat points it costs to get to that point. (Unless of course you have maxed your stats in other areas, or wanna PK and hope the extra AC will let you survive a warrior duel 4 instead of 3 hits) Const is also sexy cuz it works for your entire hp range and it lets you run longer n stuff.

So basically as Jesus3 said: focus on stamina and strength as a warrior. And dependent on what kind of monsters you fight and what access to potions and elixirs you have, you could add some const sooner or later. (Const wont help you kill monsters you otherwise couldnt, itll just help you recover more quickly in between so basically lets you take on larger spawns or whatnot).

Although some may say to add some constitution and Defense...I think until you are a much higher level then these stats would prove better results being put in either strength or Stamina.

At a later stage you may want to add a smidge of defense to equip a good plate.
