Yeah, there's no way that Battlefield 2 is free.  On top of that, its hardware requirements are ridiculous.  I can't play it on a fucking GeForce 4 Ti4200+.  That's a fucking 128mb videocard.  The minimum (and mind you, minimum does not mean it will run well) is for generation 5 of the GeForce cards. 

And as far as the professionally made MMOs, go, I think WoW would be an obvious choice over eq2, which barely even managed to struggle out of the gate.  I have no reservations saying that WoW is the most polished, well-made videogame that has ever existed in any medium.

but you are correct... BF2 requirements are stupid as fuck. They tell you one thing on the box then when you get it installed they tell you that you HAVE to use one of the selected compatible Video Card.
