And have some kick-ass orchestrated music.

I mean, how cool would it be, to enter the final level of a dungeon for a quest. And then from the speakers, Hendel's Messiah starts playing. (Think of: "And he shall purify".)

It's true i gave it a fair share of crashing duping and cheating as well, it just doenst want to die..

Lol game lags almost as much as Runescape, which is quite shameful considering how few players are ever on!

I never expeirence lag on Faldon, maybe it is your computer

To be honest the game USED TO BE good.. until some blatently clever GM decided to feck up all the item requirements to point of stupidity!! Me and my mate who is also a long term player were laughing about this only just the other day....

Why change everything so half the people leave when there's barely enough people on as it is??? ..I don't get GM's.. meh they abuse their power anyway...

The ones whop abuse there power are long gone Tim is a rule Nazi as we like to call him now he doesnt abuse his powers at all from what I have seen. Faldon Functions fine at its current fanbase which is around what it always is during this time of the year. It is actually a little high, it only gets bigger during the summer.

I agree though that some improvements are in order.. and to be honest, if you look at all the other mmorpgs going at the moment (there are a fair few now .. such as Conquer Online, MU Online, Runescape, Guild Wars, Kal Online, ROSE Online... the list goes on!) ..then Illusory really need to get to it fast, otherwise Faldon won't be dying, IT'LL BE DEAD!!!

Trust me Faldon wont die for a long time. Years of neglect couldnt kill it. I tried to kill it by crashing the game, duping, cheating, etc.. Faldon can't die.. Its like Super Aids except without the painful death.. and I don't think it can be transfered sexually to other partners.

Maybe making the game look more inviting to the general browser would be helpful.

A more flashy front to the webpage with graphics included from screenshots.

A newbie map for learning all the skills in the game, mining, scribing, etc in a ripoff of the runescape newb island tutorial with a limit to the resources you can use in there.

Generally things to persuade people that downloading a 108MB file (which on a 56k modem means leaving a computer on overnight) and then downloading a heap of patches is a really good idea.

It is not fair to compare Faldon to those games...I bet those games have 1000% higher budget than Faldon and at least 200x more employees.

I can also bet you that none of those games where written by a 14 year old.

Faldon has its place in the world. It is a Pet Project of Zer...I think if he really wanted it to be Huge he would advertise it and what not. But as it is, it is a steady game that he can manipulate however and whenever he wishes.

Some people dont like it quiet.

Faldon Graphics are fine when compared to a lot of other games. Maybe not compared to the Million Dollar games...but why would u even try and compare them. As i keep saying..if a game like Tibia can atttract a few hundred thousand players...then Faldon's graphics are not the killer.

I believe Faldons Wound is its lack of Content. It is simply Level-Level-Level.

There are no classes bar Warrior or Mage...

The highest lvl legit sword can be bought from an NPC

Drop rates are so ridiculously low that no-one even bothers.

There are maybe 2 good quests worth doing.

The general fact of the matter is that by about lvl100 you have reached the Peak of what Faldon can Offer you...anything after that and its just counting away the time.

Actually skawn said quite the opposite, I just changed a couple words.

And the next client wont be the second but more like the third. People will argue this with me I am sure.. But I think as far as actual new clients.. it is the third. Zer is working on it, when it will be, nobody knows. Changes coming are not quite sure.. Guess we have to wait for it to get closer to finish to really know what will happen.

I'm going to have to agree with Skawn- Faldon is great in it's own way, and to add to that it is improving at a very, very slow rate.
If the original makers of this game had the time and money, I could see this game being the next Diablo or something like it(But I'm sure that's not the goal). All we need is a better server (the current one is decent) and better graphics, better graphics/flashy effects would attract more fans. Along with this, a nice story line would give the game something else to play it for. How hard is it to write a clichique medieval epic story anyways? It's not hard at all, infact I'm sure that 90% of the players alone could create a nice story line, quest ideas and such. I think newer art would benefit the game as well, GM's need to expand there as well, example- horned helmets for bezerkers, better "assassin" weapons that would match the power of a cm or flail with AR or just damage, newer spells that would include something like "haste" from those other generic medieval games- this is probably the only example that would be reasonable, being that we have slow currently...

Anyways what's this I always hear about the 2nd client, someone tell me about it, I'm completely ignorant to the whole idea of it.

But all in all, this current game could be phenominal, for now I'll just agree with Skawn and call it great- I enjoy playing this game despite how ownable I am to other players

Crov is currently in a new house with a new car in the driveway just from the Stat Resets alone...

Actually man.. Do you know what Crov does? I have no clue why.. but When people buy stat resets and C with Paypal.. He ends up sending the FULL $2.50 and $15 to Coma.. He is spending his OWN money to make sure Coma doesn't get ripped off..

If I would ever buy C off Crov I would send him extra money to cover the transaction fee Paypal takes out of it...
