well ive raised my magery to max about 5/6 times now, and ive experienced at about grandmaster, magery will slow up completely and barely raise at all , unless u are raising wizardry.
wizardry(etheral gate) is currently the only skill that allows magery to raise to divine.
Even if u raise ur mage skills high, magery will always be 4-5 points behind ur highest mage skill.. ive been there, done it alot of times..

tactics ive raised to max aswell, and to be honest,  i had to raise atleast 3-4 warrior skills to max b4 gainnin my divine tactics.
my point is, you wont get tactics/magery title unless its what ur goal is set for

Only Ethereal Gate really raises Wizardry to high levels, the others barely raise it all.
The titles themselves would be sort of pointless cause it's impossible to raise the two skills by themselves, they only raise as a side effect of other skills.
But in the end, I guess, there would be no pain in having them, they just wouldn't be very meaningful.
