Messed around for a few hours and didn’t get any crashes - even when I tried to trip things up by spamming spells and skills on a few spawns.

I know it’s not really a priority, but do you plan on completing the map editor as well? Honestly, that’s something I’ve been wanting to dig into for about twenty years

Sound: Is it the church bell chiming on the hour? It shouldn't be audible terribly far from town. It's an Ogg file, which may have been broken by my adding MIDI support -- not sure -- I haven't heard it and thought it was broken. (Maybe it's playing in the wrong location.)

Music: I've fixed the crackling today. It would happen any time the frame rate dropped -- it only filled up 8KB of audio (about 1/10 second) per frame. When it's minimized it limits the frame rate so as to not waste CPU. Thanks for letting me know about this!

Thanks for the new update! Haven't had any crashes. Finally playable, can't wait!

A few issues on the sound updates. There's this chime-like sound effect that sometimes plays, seemingly at random, everywhere I go. I can't seem to reproduce this by performing any particular actions.

Also, when you minimize the game, the sound will start crackling and and slowing down like it's out of resources. I'm not seeing any change in resource usage vs when the window is focused.
