			<description><![CDATA[<p>Well, turns out the memory usage is a simple bug:</p><p>void DrawInfo::Refresh(float timeStep) { if (mViewable) { mViewable-&gt;Refresh(timeStep); } }</p><p>void Viewable::Refresh(bool forceUpdate) { ... }</p><p>Ooooops....</p><p>If the wall tile had an alpha channel (ivy, cactus, rhododendron), it&#039;d reload, for every single tile, every single frame.<br />And that would queue up if it fell behind.<br />Amazing how fast computers are these days.</p><p>(Still need to find out why it didn&#039;t trigger to clear out memory when it went above 1GB.)</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>James,</p><p>The memory usage definitely spikes when I load the game which is normal. but it stays around 900MB unless a lot is going on right before I crashed it spiked close to 1500MB. I&#039;ll have to load a comparable game and see what&#039;s &quot;normal&quot;. Most of the time when I crash, I&#039;m usually just roaming the map.</p>]]></description>
