You know, even though I didn't play back then I kinda wish the game was like that it seemed better for some reason.

Well, it was simpler, that much can be said. On the other hand it was awfully easy to cheat, and yeah, summoned slimes dropping gold when they die as mentioned above..

Come to think of it bank open/close was totally client side then as well. You could have opened it anywhere with a packet editor.

yeah, you really have got to get out of the habit of client side anything the client is supposed to be a a display 
which results in the AR hacks etc
