Topic: Test World

I recommend not having random people become GMs in the Test World. Gives people the power they always dreamed of and will tire of the game even faster. They play that more than anything and then eventually will become bored with their 'normal' character.

Re: Test World

i don't see the point of working on something that isn't saved...    if they are having more fun with all the powers then they shouldn't be playing games in the first place...

Re: Test World

Re: Test World

I was already bored before I played the test server.

If practice makes perfect, and no ones perfect, why practice?

Re: Test World

Okay so I play test server and I play real server, ya I like the test server it lets me experiment.. It's better then people hacking real server. I agree there are some people that shouldn't have powers. However some people are just in it for fun.. It doesn't affect any of you what so ever, so why complain? Seems rather pointless... If you don't like it then don't go on the test server, I'm not directing this at anyone however stop complaining about things that don't directly affect/involve you.

Thanks.

Re: Test World

it directly affects us... everyone on test server means real server has low pop and ppl log in see no one on and log off....   it's cool that u want to experiment but don't spend ur whole time on it.

Re: Test World

I've never seen more than five people on at a time on the test server.  Most of the players who I see logged in, don't actively play very much or at all.  If the loss of less than five players inactive players from the main server is driving down the population, then it's more of a problem with the game than the test server itself.

Besides, the new client is coming out sometime soon.  This means that there's not a huge amount of motivation to play right now since they've already hinted at the fact that they're going to put up an alternative fresh server when the new client is completed.  In most games you see a decline in players before new content is released. However, things like this are just more noticeable when you have an average server population way below fifty players.

On another note, I'm of the opinion that if people were as friendly towards each other on the main server as they are on the test server, people might just stick around a little longer. smile

I completely agree, as most have you have already figured out this is Amber.. But I forgot the login to my other stuff =P anyway. I play test server and love it. As Pennywise had said if people were more nice to eachother like they are on test, we would keep more people. I can think of 5 people off the top of my head that quit due to bullying, harrassment etc. Which brings me to the other topic I posted on. More M's. People start harrassing when their skills get high but their skills only get high because they macro ALL day.
