Well im not trying to make this blown out of proportion i just dont think its right when GMs/Ms have NEVER enforced this rule before. Maybe we need a more detailed list of rules for chat moderation

A simple solution would be to have the mutes tried to an IP address. 

Honestly, if you're getting muted and then logging to another character to press the issue with the Mod in the broadcast channel, you shouldn't be surprised when there are consequences.  I personally think that it's time to put a stop to the players attempting to circumvent the rules and then playing dumb and complaining when they don't get away with it.

I'd like that too, would eliminate the problem of people logging alternate chars to continue their behaviour after they've been muted.

The reason I was saying his claim was "not entirely true" is because we did enforce it in the past, but that probably faded away once Lothar became the only really active Gm and couldn't actively police on top of his other Gm duties.

Isn't a loophole something that is considered an error inside a system, and so not punishable if said loophole was exploited?
