Just a thought, but they might be mad he misled the country into a war based on lies against a country that had absolutely nothing to do with it with no plan, allies or even enough troops.
If I were standing by the WTC site, I think I'd first feel remorse and then a great sense of anger that Bush has dared yet again to invoke a national tragedy for political gain, as some sickening shield used against those that would otherwise attack his failed efforts on the economy, Iraq and other issues.

Yes, how childish to protest a war or get your expression stated. I suppose the non-childish thing to do would be to blindly accept the current leadership and the status quo of failure. Because children never accept anything blindly, of course.
I'd like to point out the extreme hypocrisy as this caller into CSPAN also talked about the media's "smear campaign" against the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth and their ads.

Hm, could it be that Bush is using a national tragedy for political gain? Not like he did to pass the Patriot Act, to win the mid-term 2002 elections, put it in campaign commercials, use it as an excuse for the economy or talk about it every chance he gets. No, of course not.
The war was political as soon as it started. All war is political and I'd hope the "troops overseas" would be content knowing that the freedom of speech that they are supposedly defending against Baghdad Bob with the camel and the box cutter is still alive and well.
