Topic: New Scribery

Scribery is a great skill. But wouldnt it be even cooler if you could scribe your spells upwards instead of downscale? Now with this great feature there would def. have to be restrictions or else the market would flourish with every spells. Here is a detailed layout of how my idea of a new scribery system could be implemented.

Normal scribing takes a book (level?) and copies it to a new book one level lower.

Well this new scribery option would allow you to scribe your low level books to high level books.
When using this form of scribery your book will not be copied and still loose dura whether your
successful or failing. Also if the book is successfull scribe upward, the dura can range from 1-5 depending on you sribery level. (e.g. lvl2 Greed scribed successfully to lvl3 greed might endup with only 1/5 dura) This is how the scribe points would corridnate...

Level 2 Books
20 Scribe

Level 3 Books
30 Scribe

Level 4 Books
40 Scribe

Level 5 Books
50 Scribe

Level 6 Books
60 Scribe

Level 7 Books
70 Scribe

Level 8 Books
80 Scribe

Level 9 Books
90 Scribe

Level 10 Books
100 Scribe

Now theres going to be a percentage in which you will fail or succeed on scribing your books upward. Obviously the higher the scribing level the higher chance you have of succeeding at lower level books. Now getting scribery to 100 would be nearly impossible or extreamly hard. But with these new options scribe exp could be alteralted and add more options to which scribery can do.

On another note, i notice people have been wanting stacked Blank Books for inventory space. I think i came up with a good solution. What about adding a new kinda book in caprentry, for lack of better words lets just call it a "Large Blank Book" which is equivelent to 5 blank books. That way inv space can be saved and blank books could in a way be stacked.  of course this would require a higher carpentry then a regular book but i felt it may be beneficial in some ways.

Hope people understand this new idea and it is welcome to C&C.

Thanks, A Wall

Re: New Scribery

Hmmm.....

We can't add new options you can choose client-side to Scribery until new client, but things that go with the current interface can work.
So for now it will just do higher level as a random event. I can revisit this when new client is out.
