First Update for name changes had a bug .
If the bugged person was in geg and did 200 between the time his name was bugged til fixed hé would get the gp of gabby before the change , but it also allowed him to gain the gp after the name change, just giving u the heads up, there might be some abusive ones

Oh and .. how does rep work, we just tried it with couple of people, didnt see any changes..
may i say, that ive noticed that faldon doesnt record deaths and kill anymore, i didnt see the murderer/vigiliants/corpses ladder budge for the past year

Well it seems gabby mistaked the player as 2 diff ppl so hé Got the Gold as normally at first but after the change it would then give him All the gp again cuz it thinks hes a new player..
Im more worried about the Spell npcs that offers +2lvls ón ebolt/pcloud etc.. Players Can end up getting a unnatural High lvl spell that no1 else Can acces..

Nope, their flags are stored by player id, not the player name, which is why it's possible for GMs to do name changes now.
