No update this week (or last week unfortunately).
I've been meaning to move monster and object spawns into the map editor, and have made small progress in that regard, but not enough to call it an update. Hopefully I can focus on it more this fall.

As to why move monster and object spawns:
I want to be able to have smaller and larger maps. These have to be out of spawn lists and into the map editor to really make that work well. There are a lot of annoying issues with this conversion. For example, we have a lot of existing spawns of differing types on the same tiles. Either the editing needs to be annoying, or I need to have a sort of "compatibility" spawn that stacks them but you can't create more of, or perhaps move the existing spawns a tile or two. *shrug*

I can't imagine the necessity of having more than 1 spawned entity per tile. In an ideal state I mean. I get that's probably the case in some locations of the map now
