Topic: The Olden Days

I miss the olden days, the olden days are always the best days... haha duping back in the olden says was fun to.. when u logged from faldon, you character didnt leave until 5 secodns after you logged off to prevent you from logging off from monsters / attacks.. so you killed the character JUST as it logs to dupe the items.. so fun. Ive been around since the very beginning.. one of my fondest memories was enduring the tremendous lag while Zer was spawning skeletons.. (yah just plain skeletons) to test the graphics to see if they walked funny or not.. lol.. old faldon.. well im back to play faldon, on angeldust .. even thoguh i miss the items i sold.. the abs.. zanbas.. gm robes.. ect.. but ohwell.. my main point is that i posted this here so we can all share our old memories of the old clients.. (sorry newbs) ...  big_smile

First version of desert (when the client was still VB) was the most fun for me.  However, church map was always fun for me for the blisful ignorance I had about the game then. wink

the old clients rocked, remember buying spells from an npc for like 100 gold and just using the spell books, didnt matter the spellbook level lol, just use it and it gave u +level... lol.. and luberjacking and scribing and carp .. well hell all the skils were more useful and actually worth leveling up on.. even alchem

It is a good thing that people are whining about current gameplay and missing the old Faldon, before it was beaten and tortured into its current deformed state.

Bastard Duper. I loved banning the dupers and then turning around and spawning myself new items on the Church map because none of the other Gm's still had it installed and would crash if they travelled there.
