i suggest starting as a warrior or lumberjack as these two ways are easiest when your a newby

Re: Money making

Take up a trade. But use alternate chars if you don't intend to buy citizenship.    I'm gonna take up alchemy.

Re: Money making

alechemy = not good for making money

possibly the best is gsmith so u can make gplates then sell them for 2k each

Re: Money making

Yes goldsmithing is a nice easy cheap skill to raise to 95 as a new player

Are you for real.

the best money maker would be Lumberjacking in a skill.

As most others you need to get a high skill before you can start making anything worth selling.

Lumberjacking you start cutting logs from the word go. and they are in plentiful supply.

Unfortunately that is the main problem new players have in faldon and selling furs etc at a slow pace is your basic main option.

try colelcting flowers...in large quantity's you can make good moneya nd its a free method.

You can get 10k moonflowers in probably 30min and sell them for 3k thats good money for 30min work in most instances of faldon.

I'm opening up a shop that sells 13" rulers just so Fireborn stops complaining.

Re: Money making

Best way to make some cash is by making friends. It's not an easy job on Faldon, but it's really the best way. Either your new friends give you shit, or they trust you enough to 'lend' you shit.

Re: Money making

In order to really get into the ecconomy, you need to just keep playing until you find a valuable drop.....once this happens, make sure to sell it for the price that it is worth (some people may try to rip you off)....once you have made a decent amount of base money, it's up to you to make buisiness savvy trades with other players in order to keep profiting (buy low - sell high is the name of the game).....most players who legitimately made large quanities of money spent a long time (as in a year or more) to do it....so just have patience and you'll get the hang of it......hope this helps....

Re: Money making

Moonslowers for 2k fr only 30mins.. where do they spawn and where do they sell??!?!?!

that seems like a fast way then sacrificing furs....

Re: Money making

moonflowers are only used for alchemy and don't sell to any npcs......the two largest spawn areas for them are right behind the soccer field and right next to the single horse spawn a little north-westish of dragon cave....

Furs will get you nowhere. Even killing baby dragons will get you more money...

Re: Money making

hmm... y not lvl up ur char instead? most people in the game will give you a low lvl sword like a short sword or watever or low lvl spells if your going mage, at your lvl, gp shouldnt be your main concern... besides, when you get your char high enough, gp will come much faster and eaisly
