Topic: Slipknot, Lamb of God, Shadows Fall.

I went to see them the other night, I was impressed, Shadows fall sucked at life, their entire set seemed like a 45 minute long song with an intermission of acoustic guitar.

Lamb of God was great, they didn't put on much of a show, but the music was good.

Slipknots music isn't that great but they have a few good songs, which they played all of. However watching them play was entertaining, i also noticed that at all times 3-4 band members were useless and ran around jumping on things, breakin g things, humping drum sets and hitting beer kegs with baseball bats. Not very effecient when it comes to music making, but entertaining none the less, and i finally figured out why they have so many band members, they'd rather put on a good show than make great music, they don't suck, but they aren't great.

maybe hitting a keg with a bat is their idea of an accoustic interval.....

But your right they do a good show.

No-one can deny that no matter how many members and how little hitting a keg can contribute to music.....their sound that they come up with is unique and instantly identifiable.

I'm opening up a shop that sells 13" rulers just so Fireborn stops complaining.

Shadows Fall and Slipknot are shit.

I like Lamb of God, though.

And Jesus how is Slipknot's music unique - it's just like any other 'wishes it was real metal' band.

I heard Slipknot put up a good show as well. ANYWAY N1.

Because XTTZ when you hear a slipknot song you relate it to slipknot and you know its them.

Another such band is Linkin park.

They can be wanna metal all you like but their sound is unique.

This was the most excruciatingly painful musical experience ever. being minutes away from a great band, but stuck listening to the same thing over and over.

I went to see Slipknot, Chimera, and Fear Factory at the Jagermeister music tour last year. It was funny, because slipknot was headlining and Chimeras pit was so furious someone died (absolutely true, look it up. It was at Harpos in Detroit). I laughed.

Then there was a drunk outside sitting on the wall throwing up on himself. I promptly kicked him and left the vicinity.

Soad is awesome, their music is good, they have their own sound, and you might not like them, i've compared them to better bands as well, and they're still my favorite.

I went to the Slipknot, Shadow's Fall, and Lamb of God show. I agree Shadow's Fall sucked terribly, and Lamb of God wasn't too bad. . but i've loved slipknot since their begining in like 97'. I loved the show. I got in trouble for smoking a cigarette in my seat . . hell atleast I wasn't smoking pot.
