Topic: no run with right shift key

myself and a few others have found an issue with some laptop's mainly newer ones  or windows vista

the right shift key next to arrows doesnt work for running

is there a simple fix or what can we do?

no i do not have a numlock key

Does it not work at all or does it just not keep you running?

If it's the later then you can use my Omega Lite program or alternatively set the following addresses to 144 with a memory editor by hand.

Setting all these to 144 (0x90, NOP's) will remove the code that 'releases' the shift key. This will make you keep running while only hitting shift once (it will continue to run untill you run out of energy or use a warp).

Interesting. Does Vista have an accessibility feature that uses Right Shift? I remember when XP came out we had lovely problems with the StickyKeys feature..
